Words of Wisdom

The coffee was warm and its just the perfect coffee in the whole world. 

I always wish to sip a coffee when it rains outside, but seldom happened and 

now I am at the coffee shop. Its near my office and raining slowly outside; 

the day I am here indeed is a perfect day.'What makes you happy'? Suddenly 

a voice broke the silence.I found the waitress standing over there, she smiled and 

repeated the question. 'Sir, Tell me what makes you happy.?' I am the only

customer at that restaurant. The wind outside was blowing fast and heavy 

drops of rain started rattling on. I can't escape so fast from the situation and

from her question. Several answers were running in my mind, but I was 

surprised I can't choose a one, I don't know perfectly what makes me happy. 

I sat silent for some time, and glanced at her. She looks determined and 

curious at the same time, looking directly in to my eyes, to get an answer. 

To watch the same confusion and to hear a silly answer, I diverted the question back. 

She replied, 'When I am sad, or tired I always go to my room and hugs and speaks to 

my little doll; Winnie the Pooh, and that makes me happy.' 

Me?!!! Speechless… I uttered thanks and apologized for not giving her an answer.

Simple things around us are priceless than the things we don't have and dreaming of once 

we will get it. You have to look around and search for happiness. I looked 

back to myself and found; Outdoors ! YES ! Outdoors, Travel and Photography

are the things that make me happy. I am actively doing my best to be happy 

and found a lot of beautiful minds around me. By luck I photographed 

some of the moments and sharing in this blog. :) 

I am very grateful to God for gifting that rainy day in my life.

I went back to the same coffeeshop to find her and give the answer later. But found that

she changed her job and moved from there. So friend, thanks for asking me that day 

'What Makes You HAPPY'?.
